It will not heat

Share any code on the display and whether the pump still runs.

The breaker trips

Leave it off and note when it trips, such as at startup or when the heat or pump turns on.

There is a leak

Tell him where water appears and whether it keeps leaking with the power off.

The pump hums or water will not move

Describe the sound and whether you see any water moving through the spa.

The control panel flashes a code

Send the exact letters and numbers plus the spa brand and model if you can find them.

The jets are weak or missing

Note whether every jet changed or the problem is limited to 1 area.
